If working from home is a temporary thing for you, you may not want to spend a lot of money on a work at home workplace that will fall apart in weeks or months.

No, you don’t have to dedicate an entire room to your office. Carving out a corner of an existing space will work well for a home office. And chances are, if you just need a temporary workspace, this is a great arrangement for you.
My friend Brittany Goldwyn did just that – she has a coffee table in the corner of her living room. I love how she keeps this airy with white/light wood tables and lots of pretty plants!
I don’t mean ‘big’ objects – I mean big letters. For example, is there a small table that you can use as a table now that can be moved to your children’s craft room one day? Or finally stay in your basement for a future game night? If you’re looking for a piece of furniture, think about other places in your home where you can use it.
Can your new office become a chore for kids? Or can you add a small table to your living room, giving your guests another space to store their belongings when they arrive? Choose a place in your home where desks can be used for other purposes if necessary and create a home office space there.
