I wanted to give you some simple and easy tips on how to organize a beautiful event without spending a lot of money on decorations. I want to share some quick tips on how to organize 70th birthday decorations on a budget.

This was achieved using dollar tree items: mirrors, mason jars, small ribbons and silk flowers. I used my cricut machine to cut the centerpieces from the “70 & Fabulous” paper. It doesn’t have to be expensive to be stylish.

A pack of paper decorations goes a long way! If you need to stretch your budget even further, many dollar stores today also have a pretty good selection. I like to look in the “wedding” section of Dollar Tree to find elegant paper products that are less expensive.

As for extra special touches, here are some ideas I brought you for my mother-in-law. I found the gold “A” glitter and thought it was a nice touch since her name is “Alicia”. He also found two shiny gold 7-0 numbers to decorate his gift table. I printed out a simple free label from Pinterest and put it in a frame that I hung around the house. I also used a cheap frame I had around the house and printed a picture of him in his younger years and taped it up. At the end of the party, I gave it as a gift along with the letter “A”.

I also bought an inexpensive picture frame and put a picture of the birthday girl on it, which adds a personal touch to the table. I had a very simple vanilla cake made with plain white fondant and silver shadows placed in the design on the fondant. Very simple, elegant and cheap. I usually always pull out my fancy glass dispenser and fill it with juice or punch and always decorate it with a simple ribbon and Cricut. So easy and cheap because I got the tape from the Dollar Tree and had spare cards on hand.

I also found this cute blank sign on Party City and cut the same design on my Cricut with some scrap gold vinyl I had on hand. Make a nice sign on the table.
